Position Summary KUNM is looking for skilled journalists and broadcast professionals to fill our bench of on-call reporters to fill in as anchors of our drive-time NPR magazine shows (All Things Considered and Morning Edition) and to occasionally produce and host our weekly one-hour live call in show. 

Anchor/hosts will produce newscasts and web content, engineer our local NPR broadcasts and provide on-air continuity breaks including playing scheduled materials and providing weather information. 

Call in show producers will pitch show topics, research and book guests, write scripts and web content, and host live shows.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred: Experience in local journalism. Experience hosting NPR magazine programs. Experience in live broadcast public media. Strong verbal skills.
