We serve a large, truly diverse, and medically complex patient population. As the only academic health center/flagship institution for the entire state, we are the consultative resource for Dermatology in New Mexico (population 2.2 million) and also serve the Four Corners region of the Southwest. The ACGME-accredited residency program is currently allotted 3 residents/year, supervised by approximately 10 faculty.
