Position Summary

We are recruiting for Part-Time Instructors in the Educational Leadership program, which is designed for active, high-achieving educators seeking to develop a more profound understanding of leadership for learning and transformation. Members contribute to and benefit from an emergent community of learners.

These part time instructors are expected to teach graduate students in administrative licensure programs and educational leadership programs, particularly focused on supporting graduate students in learning from their coursework and internship in order to build competence, care, cultural responsiveness, self-reflection, collegiality and evidence-based assessment. The instructors may be teaching online sections of these courses. This faculty member will be expected to participate in enhancing the coherence and effectiveness of educational leadership programs.

•LEAD 603 Intro to Data Analysis for Organizational Leaders (Applied Quantitative Methods for doctoral students) 
•LEAD 520 The School Principalship
•LEAD 530 Leadership for Conflict Resolution 
•LEAD 561 Legal Issues for School Leaders 
•LEAD 609 Quantitative Methods for Analyzing and Transforming Organizations 

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

•Earned Master’s in educational leadership/administration or equivalent with successful administrative experience in K-12 or higher education

Preferred Qualifications:

•Earned doctorate in educational leadership/administration  
•Administrative experience in K-12 or higher education - 6 years or more
•Potential to teach online or certification or experience in online teaching.
•Potential to teach or demonstrated ability to teach at the college level.
•A demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and student success, as well as working with broadly diverse communities.
