The University of New Mexico’s Office of Compliance, Ethics, and Equal Opportunity (CEEO) seeks a Compliance Specialist (Civil Rights Investigator and Trainer) ready to join a growing and busy office dedicated to protecting and ensuring the civil rights of all UNM community members. The successful candidate will be experienced in conducting sensitive investigations from start to finish, effectively interviewing parties and witnesses to an investigation, interpreting and analyzing policies, and providing technical advice in the areas of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), Affirmative Action, Title IX, Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and various other compliance areas. Responsibilities:
The selected candidate must possess strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community. Bachelor's degree; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
