PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: · Bachelor’s degree. · Knowledge of university policy and procedures, including administrative, faculty, and staff policies. · Experience working with a diverse community of faculty, students, administrators, and the public in a higher education setting. · Experience with staff supervision and human resource administration. · Experience with fiscal management and budget preparation. · Proficiency in managing complex administrative tasks in a deadline intensive environment. · Experience with large public event coordination and execution. · Experience in planning, developing, and coordinating multiple projects. Demonstrated skills in organizing resources and establishing priorities. · Advanced computer skills and proficiency with word processing, database, spreadsheet, presentation, publication, and calendaring software. Familiarity with university enterprise resource systems, including student, fiscal management, and human resource management. · Ability to make administrative and procedural decisions and judgements on sensitive, confidential issues. Ability to use independent judgement and to manage and impart confidential information. · Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written, as demonstrated in a cover letter. |
