so, we want YOU to be our next Facilities Services Tech for Facilities Maintenance
Area 2! As a Facilities Services Tech, you'll be our go-to person for keeping
everything in top-notch condition. From fixing electrical fixtures to
maintaining heating and cooling systems, your skills will ensure our facilities
are always running smoothly. Your role will be diverse, exciting, and never
dull – you'll even get to dabble in carpentry, painting, and locksmithing! What You'll Be Doing Electrical
Maintenance: Repair building electrical systems including tubes, fixtures,
switches, photocells, and outlets. Assist our licensed electricians with
non-technical repairs. HVAC Systems: Monitor and
perform standard repairs on heating, ventilation, and cooling systems.
Clean fan coil units and adjust system controls to keep things comfy. Plumbing
Repairs: Fix leaking fixtures, clean waste lines, install water coolers, and
assist our licensed plumbers with non-technical tasks. Carpentry &
Painting: Perform tasks like drywall installation, window replacement,
cabinet/countertop replacement, painting, and texturing. General
Maintenance: Help with everything from custodial duties and trash removal to
kitchen equipment repairs. Safety &
Documentation: Ensure proper care of equipment and supplies, promote workplace
safety, and keep detailed records of work performed. What You Need to Succeed
Education &
Experience: High school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of related
experience. Completed degree from an accredited institution can substitute for
experience. Skills: Proficiency
with computers (Windows environment), records maintenance, ability to
follow instructions, use of hand and power tools, and knowledge of
