Fine Arts, Main Campus anticipates hiring Adjunct Faculty to teach in the Fall 2024 and/or Spring 2025 and/or Summer 2025 and/or Fall 2025 Semesters in the Department of Theatre and Dance to teach and/or develop Upper and Lower Division Courses as needed.
Anticipated openings potentially include the following subjects: Theatre Appreciation, Acting, Physical Theatre, Lighting for Theatre, Sound for Theatre Dance Appreciation, Ballet, Modern, Flamenco, Hip Hop, Music for Dancers, Choreography, Kinesiology
The Department of Theatre and Dance within the College of Fine Arts, anticipates hiring Adjunct Faculty to teach in the Fall 2024 and/or Spring and summer and fall 2025 semesters.
Positions are contingent upon need each semester as determined by student enrollment levels, current course offering matrix, and demand driven by graduation requirements. Positions may be filled or eliminated each semester up to the deadline for students to drop or add courses. Candidates who are selected for these positions will report to the Department Chair.
WagesAdjunct Faculty in the College of Fine Arts are currently compensated on the basis of their credentials and credit hour course loads.
Best Consideration DatesFor best consideration please apply by these dates:July 1, 2024 for Fall 2024 semester November 30, 2024 for Spring 2025 semester April 10, 2025 for Summer 2025July 1, 2025 for Fall 2025 semester.
Minimum Qualifications to teach or develop courses in the field or subfield for which you are applying are determined by Higher Learning Commission’s accreditation requirements for faculty, and must be met by one of these ways:
