New Mexico PBS at the University of New Mexico is seeking a motivated, dynamic, detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant 3. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational and communication skills (both written and verbal) with a strong customer service approach. This position oversees the front desk operations, so punctuality and reliability are critical to this position.
The Administrative Assistant 3 will provide administrative support for KNME-TV. Duties include: answer the main phone line, greet and assist visitors, maintain the office conference room (and calendar) & prepare student schedules. Provide assistance & other departmental staff with administrative activities that may include scheduling assistance, meeting preparation, etc. Serve as a back-up P-card holder, responsible for purchasing supplies and coordinating travel for departmental staff. Assist with department fuel card and other requirements as needed. Provide support for departmental events including contracting with vendors, managing registration lists, and other administrative items.

High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
