Minimum Qualifications:
1. An earned doctorate in TESOL, bilingual education, or related fields by August 2025.2. Minimum of three years as a teacher in K-8 settings.Preferred Qualifications:
1. Robust and current formal academic preparation/advanced study in TESOL education, and/or language policy.2. Excellence or the potential for excellence in teaching in undergraduate and graduate courses on TESOL education; or closely related areas such as, cultures and languages of the Southwest, including online and in face-to-face environments.3. Experience and commitment to social justice curriculum design, teaching, and research.4. Demonstrated commitment to outreach and collaboration with Southwest communities and partnerships with state agencies.5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English.6. A demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and student success, as well as working with broadly diverse communities.
