Compliance Splst

Requisition ID req31401
Working Title Compliance Splst
Position Grade 13
Position Summary

The Learning Environment Office (LEO) was founded in 2019 under inaugural Director, Diana Martínez, and charged with understanding, preventing, reducing, and responding to incidents of learner mistreatment at the UNM School of Medicine. LEO’s scope now includes the entire Health Science Campus (HSC): students and trainees (residents, fellows, and post-docs) in the School of Medicine and the Colleges of Nursing, Pharmacy, and Population Health.

In addition to working to address and prevent mistreatment, LEO is also engaged in broader culture change work to ensure that all teachers, learners, and staff members have access to respectful, supportive, and inclusive learning and working environments. This includes initiatives as far ranging as anti-racism curriculum development, conflict transformation training, data sharing with UNM leadership, and skill-building workshops.

Until July 2024, LEO only served the School of Medicine. In order to expand to best serve the needs of the entire HSC, LEO is hiring two new case managers.

See the Position Description for additional information.
