Position Summary

The Department of Management at the Anderson School of Management is seeking to fill the position of Assistant or Associate Professor (Tenure Track) in Human Resource Management (HRM) or related fields to begin August 2025.

The Anderson School of Management is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International and is one of the few programs in the world to attain both an Accounting and Business Accreditation from AACSB. We offer BBA and MBA degrees in 12 concentrations as well as an Executive MBA for working professionals and an MBA in Education Leadership. With over 21,000 alumni, Anderson alums can be found to have an impact in their communities all over the world. The Department of Management faculty support existing BBA, MS, and MBA programs including those that focus on management. Teaching responsibilities for this position include undergraduate and graduate courses in a broad range of human resource courses with an emphasis on student experiential learning. Typical teaching load for Tenure-Track Faculty is two classes per semester.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Earned doctorate or have strong prospect for completing a doctorate in Management or a closely related field by August 2025

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Evidence of or promise of a significant program of research and scholarship in Human Resource Management
  • Evidence of excellence or promise of achieving excellence in teaching Human Resource Management and Human Resource Analytics courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and student success, as well as working with broadly diverse communities.
