UNM-Taos’ Health Sciences Department invites applicants living in New Mexico to apply for Temporary Part time Faculty positions (Adjunct) to teach a lower division course in PBT 101- Phlebotomy Technician. This posting is for both face to face and remote delivery of courses.
These positions will be hired on an as needed basis dependent on student enrollment, course offering matrix, and graduation requirements. The specific courses include, but are not limited to, the following:
PBT 101 – Phlebotomy Technician (8)
This course prepares students for American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) Certified Phlebotomy Technician (PBT) certification. Successful completion of an apprenticeship at a clinical worksite is required.

PBT 102L – Certified Phlebotomy Technician Clinical (4)
Clinical apprenticeship program for PBT 101L. Successful completion required for credit in PBT 101L. Corequisite: PBT 101L.

Minimum Qualifications:To teach or develop courses in the field or subfield for which you are applying are determined by Higher Learning Commission’s accreditation requirements for faculty, and must be met in these ways:
