The Quality, Safety, and Compliance Office (QSCO, within the Department of Internal Medicine) seeks a Manager of Clinical Quality Improvement to manage a Quality Assurance Program through the design implementation, coordination, and evaluation of quality improvement initiatives for the Department. This position will collect, develop, analyze, and communicate a wide range of institutional data that will be used to establish benchmarks and to support decision-making, problem-solving, and planning forcontinuous quality improvements. The incumbent will be expected to develop and maintain databases necessary for the functionnoted above and ensure data integrity. This position will work synergistically with UNMH, UNMMG, and Quality Outcomes to ensure consistency of practice throughout the system.
The Department of Internal Medicine is a large, progressive department with a diverse staff working in dedicated teams to providequality work in an organized, effective, and efficient manner through innovation, training, and education. Bachelor's degree; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
