The Technical Services Department of the College of University Libraries & Learnings Sciences (CULLS) is seeking a Library Information Specialist 3. The incumbent will be responsible for government documents such as processing and collection maintenance and performing complex and specialized tasks and/or services requiring advanced skills in one or more library specializations. The incumbent will monitor daily operations and participates in the development of unit operating policies and procedures. Plans, implements, and evaluates services, and establishes service standards under the guidance of government documents department. Coordinates, prioritizes and oversees the work of students. The work will consist in government documents collection maintenance responsibilities, such as processing of government documents, labeling, mending, shelving, and shifting and supervising student employees. The position will require trouble shooting, critical thinking, and independent judgement in close collaboration with the supervisor. The incumbent will be responsible for the cataloging of Federal and State government documents and for the maintenance of the Federal and State documents collections. The incumbent may also be assigned additional projects within Technical Services as deemed necessary by the supervisor.

Bachelor's degree; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
