UNM Neurology seeks a Neurodevelopmental Disabilities specialist to join our Child Neurology team and help lead efforts in New Mexico to improve the care of children and adults with neurodevelopmental disabilities. The position will be part of a team of faculty providing quality patient care in the inpatient and outpatient setting at UNM Hospital and will assume the role of Director of Continuum of Care in coordination with UNM Pediatrics.Clinical responsibilities include the following:

Academic responsibilities include participation in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
Research responsibilities include collaborating with researchers within and outside the department. Opportunities for pilot funding are available to build out your own research in the future.UNM Hospital is the tertiary care center for the State and the only NAEC level 4 epilepsy center, and ALS / MDA center and comprehensive movement disorder center in the State. The UNM Neurology Department has 35 full-time and part-time attending physicians and is home to well-established Residency and multiple Fellowship programs. The child neurology division has six full-time faculty, one part-time faculty, and a nurse practitioner. Our child neurology residency currently accepts two residents per year.About Albuquerque, New MexicoAlbuquerque, NM is a beautiful city with Sandia Mountains to the east and mesa to the west.
