The School of Medicine Research Group (SOMRG) provides support and comprehensive training in both clinical and biomedical sciences. SOMRG seeks a professional, customer-focused, highly organized multi-tasker to fill the position of Administrative Assistant III.
This front office position requires someone with excellent communication and customer service skills and the ability to represent the department in a friendly, professional manner. This position works closely with office leadership and staff to provide front desk support, which includes assisting students and visitors, and resolving or referring a range of administrative inquiries. Administrative support will Include: purchasing, P Card transactions, Chrome River reconciliations, specialized record-keeping, support activities, room reservations, event logistics, answering phones & emails, assisting and resolving problems/inquiries of visitors, banner time entry, calendar management, agenda preparation, meeting scheduling, travel arrangements, correspondence, recording & transcribing meeting minutes, document tracking and other assignments related to executive level support. Must have excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor.

High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
