The University of New Mexico, Office of the Vice President for Research (OVPR) is seeking a Full Time Fiscal Services Tech to join our office The mission of the OVPR is to advance innovation and discovery. The core of this mission is the research, scholarship, and creative works of UNM faculty. The OVPR seeks to facilitate these activities, resulting in new knowledge and applications of value to academic communities and the public.
The Fiscal Services Tech will work in collaboration with the OVPR’s Research Administration team, and report to the Associate Director of Finance and Administration. The ideal candidate will assist with fiscal, budgetary, and associated transactions, index reconciliation, and budget projections for the OVPR and Category 3 Research Centers.. Must become knowledgeable of UNM accounting principles, process labor redistributions, journal vouchers, purchase orders and invoices utilizing the appropriate UNM applications.

High school diploma or GED; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
