The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of New Mexico invites applications for a postdoctoral fellow position in pure mathematics, beginning in Fall 2025. This appointment may be renewed for additional periods after one year, subject to available funding and continued satisfactory performance.
The successful candidate will be expected to: (1) teach two undergraduate math courses per semester, (2) maintain an active research program, and (3) participate in the department’s research activities. They will have the opportunity to continue their current research projects while also engaging in collaborative work with department members.
