- Strong understanding of, and demonstrated experience, serving a diverse student community including first-generation, rural, and historically underserved and minoritized identities. - Demonstrated experience developing, coordinating, and implementing 1st-year college residential and transition programs, mentorship efforts, and student leadership and retention initiatives. - Experience designing & planning student-centered programs, including but not limited to: curriculum development, staff training, facilities/logistics coordination, and hybrid (in-person & online) student engagement programming. - Strong comprehensive national, regional, and state-wide targeted recruitment & outreach experience and ability to integrate student support service-related projects/programs in collaborative partnership initiatives with various campus units. - Experience with implementing institutional, departmental, private, and tribal scholarship outreach, selection and awarding processes. - Advanced proficiency coordinating the collection, maintenance, and analysis of program activity data; and developing, authoring, and presenting comprehensive statistical and narrative program reports and evaluations. - Strong strategic planning experience and ability to develop models and analyses related to holistic student development philosophies and success models aligned with high-impact strategies. - Ability to develop and administer assessment plans and evaluate short- and long-range goals, objectives, operating procedures, and performance goals. - Demonstrated experience developing reports, spreadsheets, and databases: and maintaining program/project records and statistical information utilizing Excel, Access, Hyperion, MyReports, and Banner. - Advanced expertise creating design sets and copy for print publications/digital & web-based communication/social media platforms utilizing Adobe Creative applications: Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe Express, and Photoshop; and the integration of communication campaigns and strategies. - Strong written communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse entities & constituencies including, but not limited to: colleges and universities, higher education organizations, and tribal, local, state, and federal agencies. - Working on a team and/or in a collaborative work-setting, multi-tasking and creative problem-solving and working in a high-traffic customer service environment. |
