Nuclear Medicine Physician/Diagnostic Radiologist The Department of Radiology at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center is seeking applicants for a fellowship-trained Nuclear Medicine Physician/Diagnostic Radiologist. As a member of our team of nationally recognized nuclear medicine radiologists and medical physicists, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to practice cutting-edge nuclear medicine, with optional opportunities to assist in other subspecialties according to interest or expertise. We provide the full range of nuclear medicine imaging services including Rb-82 cardiac PET, Ga-68 and Cu-64 DOTATATE PET, and F-18 PSMA PET. We collaborate closely with UNM’s comprehensive cancer center, and we serve as a state-wide referral center for nuclear medicine therapies including I-131 hyperthyroid and thyroid cancer (with dosimetry available), Lu-177 PRRT for neuroendocrine tumors, and Pluvicto® for prostate cancer. Additional opportunities include participation in tumor boards and multidisciplinary conferences, as well as other interdisciplinary activities. Research opportunities are available and are encouraged. State-of-the-art 7T PET/MRI translational imaging and image processing facilities are available and research is supported by dedicated research staff.
