The University of New Mexico (UNM) has a full-time Systems/Network Analyst 3 (Database Administrator) opening on the Albuquerque Main Campus. The position will be part of the UNM IT Computing Platforms - Database Team. The DBA team provides technical support in Banner ERP (architecture, installation, and upgrades), enterprise Oracle databases and Microsoft SQL Server databases, Apache Tomcat, Apache HTTP Server, SQL performance tuning, and other enterprise applications. Primary responsibilities of this position include:
The successful candidate will demonstrate skills and knowledge in some of the following – Oracle 19c database on Red Hat Enterprise Linux; SQL Server database on Windows; database backup, recovery, monitoring and diagnostics; and Banner ERP. This position requires on-call work and flexibility to work occasional overtime, nights and/or weekends.
