We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Manager to lead the infrastructure core of the University of New Mexico’s Prevention Research Center (UNM PRC), which is part of the Department of Pediatrics in the School of Medicine. . This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation and administration of a federally and state-funded center that supports multiple research and program projects through grants and contracts.
The UNM PRC is dedicated to addressing the health promotion and disease prevention needs of New Mexico communities through participatory, science-based research, as well as collaboration, training, dissemination, and evaluation activities. This position serves as the bridge between the Department of Pediatrics, the division, and other Health Sciences Center (HSC) departments, ensuring seamless communication and coordination across multiple stakeholders. This is a critical leadership position that plays a vital role in the success of the UNM PRC by ensuring operational efficiency and fostering collaboration across departments and funding agencies.

High school diploma or GED; at least 6 years of experience 2 of which are management level experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
