As the Operations Manager for the Department of Surgery, you will be at the heart of our daily operations, ensuring smooth departmental coordination, oversee daily operations, improve organizational processes, manage staff, and lead process improvements and re-engineering efforts for administrative and clinical workflows. This pivotal role combines strategic oversight with hands-on leadership to drive quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement across the organization.
The Operations Manager provides direct support to the Department Administrator and will be handling contracts and agreements, FIBCIs, faculty contracts, faculty recruitment initiatives, faculty onboarding and assisting the Department Administrator in the day-to-day transactional items of the department. This position will also provide operational support for the revenue cycle and financials as it relates to contracts.
The successful candidate will be highly reliable, will work productively both independently and as part of a team, will demonstrate a customer service-oriented approach, and will exhibit pride in providing top-quality service and an outstanding work product.

High school diploma or GED; at least 2 years of experience managing at least one of the following functional areas: fiscal services, administration and/or human resources AND 3 years of additional experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
