The Psychology Clinic is seeking a highly motivated and professional Administrative Assistant 2 to assist the Clinic director with daily unit operations. The Psychology Clinic provides mental health services to the community and professional level training for students in the Clinical Psychology Doctoral Program. The Administrative Assistant will perform a variety of administrative support and fiscal duties for the clinic and the AGORA crisis center. Performs and/or oversees a variety of associated administrative, fiscal, staff support, and planning activities, some of which require advanced or specialized knowledge and skills, such as budget administration and control, equipment, facilities, and inventory management, specialized recordkeeping and database management, and/or specified information-gathering projects and tasks. Coordinates and facilitates meetings, program training, and/or special events, as appropriate. Will maintain an emotionally safe and accepting interpersonal environment for clients. Due to the nature of the office, this position requires a high level of confidentiality. The successful candidate will be required to perform a variety of duties that require a range of skills in compliance with APA, HIPPA, and FERPA laws; as well as University and Mental Health care policies and procedures for handling confidential client/patient information. Duties and Responsibilities will include: Keep the administrative and financial affairs of the Clinic in good order in collaboration with the Psychology Clinic and AGORA Directors Manage the clinic email, calendars, and scheduling Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinic policies and procedures and training manuals Maintain client files in compliance with HIPPA and FERPA including consent forms, service fees, and recordings Preparation of training materials and community materials for dissemination Keep record of student and volunteer hours and training. Fiscal duties include but not limited to: Ordering and tracking supplies, Membership renewals, Travel arrangements and reimbursements in compliance with UNM policies and procedures, Monthly reconciliation and reporting, JV entries, Budget revisions. And other duties as assigned.

High school diploma or GED; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
