This individual will recruit, call, screen, interview, schedule, and run human participants for a cognitive neuroscience experiment. The study will primarily assess individuals with Parkinson’s disease as well as community-sampled matched healthy control participants. The Research Assistant will be required to independently perform interactive clinical assessments (e.g. Montreal Cognitive Assessment; United Parkinson’s Disease Rating Scales) on all participants. This position will require balancing the demands of multiple time calendars for varied assessment equipment as well as helping run the participants through brain-based assessments (MRI, MEG, EEG). These assessments require following detailed instructions, being comfortable working with neurological patients, having strong people skills, and having excellent documentation and observational skills. The Assistant may provide specific guidance and training to entry-level assistants and/or interns and will be required to work closely with a diverse team across multiple institutions (UNM, HSC, MRN).

High school diploma or GED; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities which may include practicum.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
