The School of Architecture and Planning welcomes applications for a full-time Academic Coordinator. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a creative environment and uniquely designed facility in support of the Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Community & Regional Planning, Environmental Design, and Historic Preservation disciplines. The Academic Coordinator will perform a broad range of tasks related to academic units and will provide centralized administrative support to Department Chairs and Associate Deans as needed. The Academic Coordinator will report to the Academic Operations Officer. Duties and responsibilities for this staff position may include:
The successful candidate will demonstrate a professional demeanor, excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), and a strong commitment to excellence and detail as well as an ability to prioritize and manage multiple administrative projects.
The School of Architecture and Planning is housed in George Pearl Hall located on UNM’s main campus.

High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
