Position Summary

The Anderson School of Management at the University of New Mexico is looking for a highly-organized individual with outstanding project management skills to join our Corporate and Community Engagement (CCE) team as a Business Services Manager.

Reporting directly to the Senior Executive Director of CCE, the Business Services Manager will help coordinate track and report on the various activities and projects within CCE.

Specific duties will include:

  • Project Management for planned activities for CCE, including requests for approvals, confirmation of available budgets and event/activity budget management, instructor reminders, and follow-up activities.
  • Working with Anderson’s Academic Operations Officer and Fiscal Shared Services on budget development, reconciliation, and reporting activities for CCE indexes. Create quarterly budget report for CCE activities for the CCE leadership and Dean’s office.
  • Facilitate and track agreements with custom training instructors, ensuring timely payment. Ensure compliance with University and Anderson policy and best practice.
  • Develop and maintain CCE activity reports to demonstrate anticipated outcomes and impact.
  • Provide project management and administrative oversight for the Rural Student Connectivity Project (RSCP) including communication with participating students, internal and external stakeholders, and CCE team.
  • Facilitate and track stipends allocated to students participating in facilitated internships. Ensure funds are allocated from the appropriate indexes and document the payments accordingly for reporting purposes – for impact as well as compliance with donor intent.
  • Provide back-end support for the Nusenda Microloan process, including development and delivery of required reporting, and facilitation of associated meetings.
  • Supervision of student employees.

Conditions of Employment
Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; at least 7 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Demonstrated project management capabilities.
  • Experience with tracking, reconciling, and reporting of financial information.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated abilities to foster strong working relationships across a variety of departments and diverse groups of people
  • Demonstrated organizational skills as evidenced in past work experience
