Position Summary |
The University of New Mexico, Office of the University Controller,
also known as Financial Services, located on Central Campus,
is responsible for all central accounting functions for the University. It is the responsibility of the Controller's Office aka Financial
Services, to ensure compliance with all financial policies, rules, and
regulations adopted by the University or imposed by external agencies,
including state and federal audit requirements, following generally accepted
accounting practices. Additionally, the Controller's Office oversees the
maintenance of the official financial records of the University. Within Financial Services is the Mailing, Shipping &
Receiving department, which is the mail and package processing facility for the
University of New Mexico. The department is seeking a hardworking, dependable
individual to join the team as a Postal Tech, who receives, sorts, and delivers
USPS, UPS, FedEx, and campus mail daily. What we're looking for! The position requires extensive physical activity. While on a
route, this position will require strenuous physical work; stair climbing,
heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling of objects over 100 pounds for extended
periods of time. The position also prepares and processes outgoing mail and parcels.
May operate computerized postage metering and weighing equipment and may be required to work

estimated, and actual salary will be determined after consideration of the
