Position Summary:
The University of New Mexico ("UNM") School of Law invites applications for a faculty position teaching Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, and related topics. This faculty position is a full-time tenured or tenure-track position starting in Fall 2026. Experience practicing criminal law is desirable but not required and entry-level and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply. We seek candidates with scholarly distinction or promise as well as a commitment to excellence in teaching.
Offering a J.D. degree, the UNM School of Law is nationally recognized for innovative classes that combine law practice skills training with doctrinal instruction and a 10:1 student-to-faculty ratio.
