Customer Service Associate

Position Summary

The Customer Services Associate position will provide a range of Public Programming customer service and support to patrons in the following areas: Technical support on all A/V equipment including but not limited to Internet connectivity, Power Point presentations, computer compatibility, set up of on-line audio and/or sound files for viewing, management of on line and program information and ticketing.  Processing ticket sales for programs and events.  Cash management and drawer reconciliation.  Shifts are (on average) 4 hours in duration.

  • This position is represented by a labor union and is subject to the terms and conditions of the CWA Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; at least 6 months of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience troubleshooting extensive A/V related matters
  • Knowledge of uploading recorded programs and events and making them available for public viewing
  • Ability to work on line proficiently with knowledge of designing, posting, revising, and uploading tasks as needed
  • Knowledge of crowd control and event security
  • Ability to independently manage customer relationships with guests as well as event and/or programming officials
  • Knowledge of Point of Sales Software
Additional Requirements This position requires the ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
