Working Title AED/CPR Trainer (Part-time, On-Call)
Position Grade 11
Position Summary

Center of Employee Health Services UNM HEART Program, within the Department of Internal Medicine is seeking part-time On Call AED/CPR trainers to train UNM's staff members and members of the UNM community in CPR/AED/First Aid.  Classes are held during the days, evenings and sometimes on the weekends.  Travel to UNM branch campuses may be necessary. Must be already certified or have the ability to quickly become a certified Certified American Heart, Red Cross, or ASHI instructor.

Conditions of Employment
Minimum Qualifications

Successful completion of at least 60 college-level credit hours; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in training staff/student employees
  • Certified American Heart, Red Cross, or ASHI certified instructor
  • Experience working as a CPR/First Aid instructor
  • Skills to complete administrative steps in running a first aid and AED program
