The Center for Development and Disability (CDD), established in 1990, is New Mexico's University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities Education, Research and Service. These centers, authorized by the Developmental Disabilities Assistance and Bill of Rights Act, build the capacities of states and communities to respond to the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.
The Autism and Other Developmental Disabilities Programs Division at the CDD is seeking for an organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills to support the training component as an Administrative Assistant 3. This individual will keep client databases current, running inquiries for internal reporting purposes and may assist with editing and proofing documents, compile and report to NIRS, process financial documents, set up contractors, plus produce brochures and other marketing materials, billing for clients, work with consumer employees, and support special events and conferences.
This position requires occasional flexible hours as needed throughout the year (some weekends and/or after business hours) depending on the work scope and training schedule.
The hired individual will demonstrate the following experience and skills:
• Excellent interpersonal skills as demonstrated through the interview process;
• Ability to work effectively with a team of administrative and training staff;
• Ability to work in a high-profile position with a diverse group of trainees within New Mexico;
• Ability to be flexible while staying professional and positive in a changing environment.

High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

Experience
Skilled in use of Microsoft Suite, Zoom, Learning Stream, Constant Contact, Canvas & Survey Monkey.
Spanish speaker.
