Position Summary

UNM Athletics is looking for a Videographer to assist in its football video office. This student will set-up film equipment for various sporting functions, film practice and games for different sports, break down equipment and run tapes.

Duties and responsibilities include:

1. Setup all video equipment to film practices and home games (Football).
2. Running tapes from practice or games into the video room. Assist in the maintenance of all video equipment.
3. Sports experience is preferred, but not required
4. Other job-related duties as assigned. Not afraid of heights. Must be able to lift 20lbs.

Operates video cameras and related equipment in the production and editing of video documentaries, educational television programs, or other video productions such as sporting events or scouting video.

Conditions of Employment
  • Possession of a valid New Mexico driver's license is a requirement for this job.
  • If this position is assigned to the Athletics Department, either administratively or functionally, compliance with all NCAA rules and regulations is required.
Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software
  • Demonstrate ability to work in a fast-paced collegiate setting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to take initiative to complete tasks and projects with limited supervision
