This posting is currently recruiting applicants for Clinical Teaching Associate (CTA). This is an On-Call position and is not benefits eligible.A Clinical Teaching Associate (CTA) is an individual who is selected to work with students who are learning sensitive and invasive exams. This includes teaching, assessing, and providing feedback on pelvic, rectal, breast examination techniques or urogenital/rectal exams. A CTA will instruct using their own bodies in a supportive manner, using communications skills needed to provide a comfortable setting.CTAs are also used in activities during which students/clinicians are learning to operate new equipment that involves sensitive and invasive exams (such as a trans-vaginal ultrasound). Under direct supervision, assumes the role of a clinical teaching associate during sensitive or invasive medical examinations. These examinations are designed to enable experiential learning and/or assessment of health sciences students' skills. Work is on an on-call basis, as needed.
Base pay is $15 an hour, plus $164 an hour for time spent on an exam table doing an invasive procedure.

Less than high school; no previous experience required.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
