Project ECHO has a unique opportunity for a Program Specialist to effectively oversee the day-to-day operations of new ECHO programs for Diabetes Health Equity along the US-Mexico border as well as to support the Diabetes/ Multiple Chronic Conditions ECHO as part of the PCORI controlled trial. This position will be part of the New Mexico Diabetes Programs/ Latin America team. As a Program Specialists you will play an instrumental role in bringing together hundreds of medical professionals and providers to share best practices. The Program Specialist’s primary focus will be to: · Plan and implement new programs in coordination with Program Manager and medical director · Ensure that communication with participants is completed quickly and efficiently from the internal e-mail inbox. · Oversee the coordination and collection of monthly, quarterly, and final reports for each program · Assemble compiled data into marketing materials in order to demonstrate the growth of the Diabetes ECHO programs · Act as the primary point of contact for administrative questions during the Diabetes/PCORI ECHO program sessions. · Directly ensure timely and accurate collection of data and other deliverables for goals of programs, entering data into proper database system, and creation of required reports. · Troubleshoot problems and find solutions to ensure a successful ECHO session.
