Under the leadership of the Director for Residence Life and Student Housing at the University of New Mexico and the immediate supervision of the Residence Life Manager, the Area Coordinator is a full-time (12 month) live-in professional who plays an integral role in the department's function. The position requires a callback response after regular business hours. As RLSH aims to enhance residents' educational, social, and personal growth, the Area Coordinator helps create conditions within the residence halls that allow a diverse student population to learn and live in a comfortable, non-threatening environment. Bachelor's degree; at least 2 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
