Position Summary

The Children's Campus is seeking an Accountant 2 to support the fiscal aspects of the program to include monthly billing for approximately 300 families who utilize services, monitoring and applying student discounts based on enrollment, and management of CYFD/ECECD childcare subsidy contracts and payments. The Accountant will also perform advanced, multifaceted accounting and related functions in such areas as ledger maintenance and analysis, cost and/or financial analysis, fund reconciliation, posting, and inventory control. Will support the program and leadership team by analyzes complex financial and operating data and preparing management reports, financial statements, and projections utilized for compliance aspects as well as future request for funding.

Conditions of Employment
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and successful completion of at least 12 credit hours of university-level accounting through intermediate accounting; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Banner Applications
  • Experience with Smartcare childcare software
  • Experience with Smartsheet
  • Experience with billing families for services
