The Center for Development and Disability (CDD), established in 1990, is New Mexico's University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities Education, Research and Service. These centers, authorized by the Developmental Disabilities Assistance and Bill of Rights Act, build the capacities of states and communities to respond to the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.
CDD’s Administration Division is seeking an individual with advance accounting skills to join their team.
This experienced individual will:
Account for Medicaid Match contract through monthly reconciliation of salaries and rent for the 75/25 and the 50/50 matching expenditures across multiple indexes.
Prepare and review Quarterly Budget for Med Match with in CDD.
Develop spreadsheets to quantify and illustrate financial reports for the quarterly HSD billing.
Provide training and support for divisions regarding time studies, time sheet completion and email reminders.
Review & approve Chrome River invoices and provide accounting support to designated division & support other divisions for accounting staff, when they are on leave.
Attend monthly budget meetings for designated divisions.
Responsible for monthly unrestricted index reconciliations and for monitoring unrestricted balances in relation to budget.
Develop unrestricted projected actuals report for the current fiscal year using large detailed spreadsheet containing actual expenses and projected actual expenses for the fiscal year.
Enter new fiscal year salary distributions into salary planner and project new fiscal year budgets in budget planner.
Sign-off on payroll for exempt and nonexempt employees using LoboTime.
Monitor, approve and/or complete salary distribution changes for Medicaid Match award and divisions.

|Conditions of Employment
Bachelor's degree and successful completion of at least 12 credit hours of university-level accounting through intermediate accounting; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
