This application is for Fall 2018 hiring only.

  • Represents CAPS as a resource to connect the UNM community to available academic services.
  • Provides superior customer service to student users, staff, and faculty
  • Disseminates information about CAPS policies and procedures to student users, staff, and faculty
  • Coordinates information and appointments between tutors and student users
  • Uses CAPS in-house computer system to schedule appointments for student users
  • Sets up and maintains appointment cards
  • Maintains confidentiality of student users and information
  • Performs general office duties including word processing and data entry
  • Maintains organization of CAPS locations
  • Performs other CAPS related duties as assigned

Requirements for Consideration

  • 15-30 hour work week
  • Attendance at pre-semester training (week before classes begin)
  • Attendance at Friday trainings (3pm-5pm) during the semester
  • Enrollment in a minimum of 6 credit hours at the University of New Mexico in a degree-seeking program
