Position Summary

The Division of Enrollment Management, Office of Admissions and Recruitment is searching for a highly motivated person to join our recruitment team.  The qualified individual will focus on student recruitment across the state of Colorado and out-of-state. The selected candidate will coordinate various programs and initiatives and assist with a variety of enrollment goals for the Division. This position will be located in the Denver/Colorado Springs area with extensive travel seasonally across Colorado and out-of-state, including some evenings and weekends.

The ideal candidate will be a creative individual that is student focused, has a dynamic personality, strong communication skills and enjoys working with prospective students in large and small group presentations. This position requires a high energy, self-motivated individual who can work a flexible schedule, is capable of working independently and demonstrates sound judgement.

Conditions of Employment
  • Ability to travel by vehicle or air, locally, statewide and/or out of state.
  • A valid driver's license, or ability to obtain a valid driver's license within thirty days of hire, is required for this job.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree; at least 2 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous Banner experience, Microsoft, Word, etc.

Prior experience working as a recruiter at an accredited college or University

Prior experience working with High School students in a higher education environment

Prior experience delivering presentations to large and small groups

Prior experience evaluating High School transcripts to determine university/college admissibility.

Additional Requirements 1. This position will require the ability to travel by automobile and airline, and will require working some evening and weekends. 2. Valid/Unrestricted Driver’s license. 3. Position is located in the Denver/Colorado Springs area. 4. Regular hours are M-F 8:00am- 5:00pm with seasonally extensive in-state and out-of-state travel by vehicle and by airline.
